South by Southwest Interactive is a thing, in case you didn’t know. Legal Tech folks have had a pretty good representation at SXSW in years past and 2017 is shaping up well too. Here is a list of the legal tech and legal innovation-related panels that have made the first round of cuts at SXSW 2017. In order to make it onto the official SXSW docket they need your help. Vote for any or all of the below at the links I’ve provided.
- Affordable & Accessible Lawyers: Really? – Jeff Bell, LegalShield Corporation, Ray Brescia, Albany Law School, Judy Perry Martinez, ABA Presidential Commission on the Future of Legal Services, Melvin Hall, Riggs Abney
- Legal Technology is an Oxymoron – Mark Britton, CEO, Avvo
- Making the Legal System More Consumer-Centric – Kevin Goldsmith, CTO, Avvo, Joshua Browder, Founder, DoNotPay, Andrew Arruda, CEO, ROSS Intelligence, Lisa Colpoys, Executive Director, Illinois Legal Aid Online
- Blogging Lawyers Helping People – Kevin OKeefe, LexBlog, Inc
Please let me know if I’ve missed one (or many) and I’ll happily add them.
